COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 response to the legal community from the L.A. COURT REPORTERS management and team:

At L.A. COURT REPORTERS, we remain committed to our legal community family in these times of uncertainty. We will remain open for business and will be offering remote capability for your litigation support and court reporting needs.

L.A. COURT REPORTERS will continue to provide the same quality services while adding alternatives to accommodate your legal needs without disruption.

*Our expert staff will be available 24/7 to schedule required services;

*Electronic transcripts can be provided in lieu of hardcopy transcripts to minimize the handling of exhibits and documents;

*A free conference room can be provided;

*We are offering remote court reporting services via Zoom, telephonically as well as videoconferencing.

*Team members are available to assist and train you with the use of these new technology alternatives;

*Everything encompassing your job will be uploaded into our complimentary document repository, which can also be retrieved remotely. Please ask our staff for your Client ID and password to have access to your archived legal matter. This includes your transcripts, exhibits, invoice history, signature information and all other related materials.

*Our offices will still be staffed with onsite court reporters for your convenience.

L.A. COURT REPORTERS are actively monitoring the advice and guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local officials pertaining to safety, health and well-being of our clients and colleagues.

The CDC recommends the following precautionary measures and guidelines to keep you healthy and prevent the spread of COVID-19:

  • Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds

  • Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer (60% alcohol minimum)

  • Keep away from others that are sick

  • Stay at home if you are sick

  • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces and objects

  • Cover your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze into a tissue, and dispose of that tissue

Our thoughts are with you as we all work to navigate this challenging time. As the COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to make headlines, even the best-laid plans are up for last-minute changes. Those changes are hitting the legal community and court reporting industry hard as we all struggle with the effects of reduced travel and government calls to avoid large gatherings.

Everyone’s health and safety are our first concern. We urge everyone to stay informed (the Centers for Disease Control regularly updates their site) and to take the recommended precautions. If you have questions or concerns about your scheduled deposition or upcoming docketing, please do not hesitate to contact the staff of L.A. COURT REPORTERS.

It is our hope all of you stay safe and healthy.

Thank you –
